Dr. Wiktoria PYTRUS, M.D.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Wrocław Medical University in 2015.

She received her specialist training in ophthalmology at the Clinic of Ophthalmology of the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław, where she still works as an assistant.

She obtained the title of Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) in 2021 by passing the European Specialist Examination.

She has completed internships at a number of international centres including Leicester Royal Infirmary, Zurich (Universitäts Spital Zürich) and Paris (Hôpital Lariboisière).

She completed The Basic Science Course in Ophthalmology at Columbia University in New York and numerous continuing education courses in cataract and retinal surgery.

Author of scientific publications in prestigious national and international scientific journals and translations of textbooks on ophthalmology.

Member of the European Society of Retina Specialists – EURETINA.

At the SPEKTRUM Clinical Ophthalmology Centre, she treats patients in the diabetic macular oedema treatment programme (injections into the vitreous body) and performs cataract surgery.

She also consults patients in English.
