Dr. Maria MUZYKA-WOŹNIAK, M.D., Ph.D.
Experienced ophthalmic microsurgeon, expert in innovative intraocular lenses, author of numerous scientific publications.
From 1994 to 2011, assistant and assistant professor at the Clinic of Ophthalmology of Wrocław Medical University. Numerous internships at prestigious centres in Europe and the United States (including Prince Charles Eye Unit Windsor, UK; Augenklinik Universitätsklinikum Tübigen, Germany; Glaucoma Research and Diagnostic Center, Indianapolis, USA). Member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the German Society of Ophthalmology (Deutsche Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft, DOG). Author of numerous scientific publications in international ophthalmological journals and a book entitled „Terapia laserowa w retinopatii cukrzycowej” (“Laser therapy in diabetic retinopathy”).
She deals with cataract surgery using the latest intraocular lenses, refractive lens surgery, vision correction with phakic lenses, treatment of macular degeneration as well as diagnostics and treatment of dry eye syndrome. Participates in multi-centre, international clinical trials.
