Dr. Dorota Maria KACZMAREK, M.D., Ph.D.

Specialist in ophthalmology. She completed her specialisation at the Clinic of Ophthalmology of Wrocław Medical University. In 2020, she defended her doctoral dissertation, which is a presentation of her own research on the AMD population. Author and translator of scientific publications, lecturer at conferences on ocular disorders with a special focus on retinal / macular diseases. Member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA). Professionally, she mainly deals with the diagnostics and treatment of retinal diseases (age-related macular degeneration – AMD, diabetic maculopathy, retinal dystrophies) and cataract surgery. Passionate about photography, climbing and mountain expeditions. Mother of four children.
