Imaging of the anterior segment of the eye with the rotational Scheimpflug camera
A three-dimensional image of the anterior segment of the eye is essential in assessing the degree of lens opacity.
The examination is painless, non-contact and takes only a few minutes. It provides accurate data on the thickness and curvature of the cornea and the depth of the anterior chamber, creating a 3D image of the anterior segment of the eye. It also allows the degree of lens opacity to be assessed (densitometry).
